100% Engagement

PRIMARY GOAL

Our primary goal with the Unfinished initiative was (and still is) for 100% of us to go before God and engage in this generosity initiative. Our earnest desire is that 100% of our church would ask God what He would have us do in regard to our generosity, and that we experience a life-transforming encounter with Him.

We’re praying every person engages in Unfinished because generosity generates transformation. When we’re financially generous, God blesses us by pouring out His transforming power in and through us. When we’re financially generous, things change in us, in our church, and in our community and world through us.

Unfinished is primarily about ALL of us being more transformed and helping to “carry on to completion” the unfinished work God began; first in you, then in and through Relevant.

EXPANDED SECONDARY GOAL

At the start of Unfinished, our secondary goal was $12 million dollars over the next two years. By God's grace we celebrated $16.9M in commitments and expected gifts! With our expanded secondary goal at the mid-point of Unfinished, the additional giving and commitments will help us reduce debt and position us for phase 2 of The Relevant Center's expansion. Below are the three God-glorifying initiatives that we believe will help “carry on to completion” God’s unfinished work.

Unfinished Mission: $5.1M $5.3M

The Unfinished initiative will help us continue our unfinished mission of transformation. What we do daily is often referred to as our “general operations budget,” but it is anything but general. This $5.3M will position us to strategically hire needed paid staff to drive our mission forward and continue to fund our operations budget and expand our ministries that enable us to help kids, students, and adults be transformed into everything God created us to be.

Unfinished Vision: $5.7M $13.4M

We have a vision that by 2030 all aspects and phases of The Relevant Center are complete, and we’re debt free. This will allow us take an even BIGGER step toward our vision of all aspects and phases of The Relevant Center being complete and being debt free by 2030. This $13.4M will enable us to pay for Phase 1 of The Relevant Center’s expansion without taking on any additional debt!

Unfinished Impact: $1.2M $1.6M

This will help us continue the unfinished impact Jesus has called us to—serving our local community, caring for Karen refugees in Omaha and along the Thailand /Burma border—and increase the financial support we provide to start new churches and strengthen our non-profit partners around the world: Restoring Dignity, Safe Haven Orphanage, Outpour, Christian Outreach Program–Elkhorn (COPE), Elkhorn School Adoption, and more.
